Vidyard’s Services include video content libraries and distribution platforms that third parties can use to show viewers their videos.

This technical data generally will not identify you as a visitor. However, in some instances, this technical data may be linked to you if you have given us identifying information about you.
What are business analytics and aggregated data? Business analytics involves the analysis of data to understand trends and insights about how individuals use the Vidyard Websites and the Vidyard Services. When does Vidyard share or disclose personal information? Sometimes, Vidyard shares or discloses your personal information and technical data to outside parties, such as our partners and service providers. For example, Vidyard shares information with our service providers who assist Vidyard with marketing, data hosting and credit card payments. Vidyard may disclose personal information due to legal requirements or enforcement, such as defending against legal claims or to investigate and prevent illegal activities. We may also disclose viewer data to our customers, such as how many times a video was watched and location of the viewers.
Information collected by our customers using Vidyard services We may provide customers with certain identifiable usage information directly related to the videos and other content that they make available through the Vidyard Services. This includes information about who specifically viewed the content and how many times a particular content was watched by a particular viewer. Viewers should be aware that customers may share such usage information with other third parties (see the next section). We are not responsible for the use of any information by such customers and their third party services. With that said, Vidyard requires all customer to use the Vidyard Services in line with applicable laws. Use of Third Party Integrations by our Customers Our customers may integrate the Vidyard Services with other third party applications and platforms. In doing so, our customers may transfer your personal information from our platform to the third party. Vidyard is not responsible for the transfer of such information by our customers. Please contact our Data Protection Officer if you have any questions in this regard or require assistance in contacting a one of our customers.
How does Vidyard keep personal information safe? The security of your personal information is important to us. Although we cannot guarantee 100% security, we use reasonably appropriate security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized use, access, modification, destruction or disclosure. We require our third party service providers to use similar safeguards to those we use.
Where is personal information stored? Vidyard has its headquarters in Canada and the Vidyard Services are hosted in Canada and the United States. Some or all of the personal information we collect may be stored or processed on servers located in Canada and the United States.
How long will personal information be retained? Vidyard retains personal information only as long as necessary to serve the identified purposes for which it was collected, subject to legal requirements.
A note about children Protecting the safety of children when they use the Internet is very important to us. The Vidyard Websites and Vidyard Services are not designed or intended for use by children or anyone under the age of 13. Vidyard does not knowingly collect the information from children. Unlink my social media profile. Should you wish to unlink your Vidyard account from your social media profile, simply log into your account, select “Groups” and click “Integrations”. Select the specific Integration and click “Remove” next to the social media profile you would like to unlink.
Access, verify, correct, update or delete personal information. You can update certain information by logging into your account. You may also submit your request to [email protected]. Vidyard shall respond and execute your request, subject to any contractual or legal restrictions.
Close your Vidyard account. If you wish to delete your account and stop doing business with Vidyard, please contact our customer service representative at [email protected].

To help constantly improve and tailor the service we provide to you, we may use aggregated information so that we can administer and improve our services, analyze trends, gather broad demographic information and detect suspicious or fraudulent transactions and most importantly monitor and improve our operations on a day to day basis. In carrying out this activity, we may pass some information to third parties in aggregate and anonymized format.
